The Mermaid Queen

Dyangga was finally defeated—and Serenea crowned a new queen with Dyesebel.

With Buboy's death, there was nothing else that anchored Dyesebel to the mortal world. And with Bukanding and Erebus at her side, Dyesebel decided to return to Serena to face Dyangga's wrath. But before the three could go back to the underwater kingdom, the tyrannical queen was already waiting for them iat sea.

Caught with no place to go, the three became prisoners in Serena. But Erebus managed to sway Usaro to their side—by telling his brother that Dyesebel was nearly his. Already slighted by his demotion, Usaro decided to give the throne back to the rightful queen. Going above land, he managed to spot Lucia just as the woman searched for a way to go into the sea. And with Lucia's pearl that he had lifted from Dyangga’s possession, Usaro took the real queen back to Serena—where Lucia defeated Dyangga.

And as the citizens of Serenea cheered for the restoration of the old kingdom, Lucia revealed that she was stepping down from her throne—to give way to Dyesebel as the new queen, an act that the whole of Serenea embraced.

Meanwhile, back on land, Fredo met an inventor friend of Dona Guada's. Using his father's finances and the inventor's genius, they set about to find a way for a mortal man to descend to Serenea.
