An Untruthful Love

Fredo and Isabel kissed and made up, leaving a heartbroken Erebus in the sidelines once again. Little did Isabel know that Erebus traded his life for a chance to be with her. Erebus possessed a pearl that would gradually become darker unless he could make Isabel fall in love with him. If the pearl turns black, Erebus will die. Faced with this dilemma, Erebus forced himself on Isabel, ultimately ruining their friendship.

Meanwhile , Fredo finally discovered that Cassandra is a fake. Cassandra/Berbola vowed to take her revenge upon discovering that Fredo left her for Isabel. She returned to Serenea, and her mother Queen Dyangga accepted her despite her waywardness.


Although Isabel is overjoyed with the turnout of her relationship with Fredo, she continues to fear that he might not accept her fully when he finds out that she is really a mermaid. To make things worse, Erebus destroyed Isabel’s magical necklace--the one thing that keeps her in human form.
