A Mermaid’s Fear
Friday, October 17, 2008
Mermaids don’t usually decide with their heads; instead they would rather listen to their hearts. But when Dyesebel chose to go above waters for her one true love, she had forsaken not only herself, but her family—and her heart.
As Isabel, she had hoped that her Prince Fredo would see her for who she really was, but he didn’t. She had hoped that when Fredo found out who Dyesebel really was, he would accept her even as a mermaid. Isabel had hoped that her Prince Fredo would be the prince charming she always thought he would be. But he wasn’t. And last week, she found out that Fredo wanted nothing to do with mermaids; and that there was no chance that he would ever love a mermaid like Dyesebel.
Meanwhile, Fredo had decided to let go of the idea that Dyesebel existed. But how come he kept seeing her everywhere he went? And when he almost drowned for the second time, he mistook Isabel for the elusive woman he had been searching for.
Don Juan was angry at his only son. But after Betty threatened his business partnership with her father, Don Juan must swallow his pride and try to make his son go back to Betty. But it won't be easy for him—and Fredo would make sure it would definitely be.
In Serenea, Erebus and Arana managed to convince Amafura to hide from Dyangga. But now, the queen had put a price on their heads. And it would be up to Amafura’s capability to hide to keep them all safe. Meanwhile, a blinded Banak continued to worry about her adopted daughter, Dyesebel.
