The Search for One Mermaid
Friday, October 17, 2008
Mermaids love forever—that much has already been established. But it doesn’t only apply to mermaids falling romantically in love. The motherly Banak was set to sacrifice her own life, if it meant the safety of her adopted daughter Dyesebel. Unfortunately for her, she still had one other child who also knew the secret she kept, and who couldn’t bear the idea of losing his mother.
Now, Dyangga knew of Dyesebel’s heritage—that the rebellious mermaid was the rightful heir to the throne of Serena. The backstabbing queen, of course, will have to do something about this. So she sent her best men to land, with Amafura’s reluctant help, to end the life of the unknowing Dyesebel.
Meanwhile, a different search was being held above land—but for the same being. After Fredo discovered Gildo’s photograph of Dyesebel, a race began between the two to be the first one to find the woman. Gildo wanted Dyesebel to become the next big star, and his ticket to achieving his dreams. But Fredo was in love with Dyesebel—and he had an unfair advantage. The only problem was, he wouldn’t stop his search to listen to the woman behind him, the woman he helped, the same woman who loved him: the human that Dyesebel had become.
With the news of Dyesebel’s appearance making news, Ava became fearful that something bad had happened to her daughter.
