A Mermaid's Sacrifice

Friday, October 17, 2008

Dyesebel returned underwater to find out the truth about Cassandra, and found out exactly what she needed to know to take back her face—and the love of her life. But while in Serenea, she was betrayed by Arana, who told the queen of her presence. Swimming for her life, Dyesebel managed to escape temporarily, only to be pulled back to sea by the powerful Octivo.

In a one-sided battle against Dyangga, Dyesebel was sure to meet her death—until Banak sacrificed herself for her adopted daughter’s safety. Bukanding learned of his mother’s sacrifice, but instead of helping Dyesebel, he blamed his foster sister for Banak’s death.

Above ground, Cassandra knew she had little time left before Dyesebel figured out what was going on. After learning about marriage from Ava, the impostor decided she had to get married to Fredo—and then, he wouldn’t be able to escape her anymore.

But Fredo wasn’t ready to get married yet, a fact that Cassandra couldn't bypass. So she manipulated Fredo by pretending to be interested in Gildo.

Meanwhile, Sheila Mae found herself in Paolo’s house. And though she made him promise that he wouldn’t call the Legaspis, Paolo made contact with Fredo still—if only to inform her brother that she was safe.
